 MARCH 2023

Dear {CONTACT.SALUTATION},

I hope you and your family are well.

This month's Miles from Nowhere is very much centred around Africa-led storytelling and conservation, including a brilliant short film on the Maasai Mara's raptor biologist Lemein Par, Wild Philanthropy's partnering with the Elephant Protection Initiative on the launch of the African Journalism Project, and a recent FT piece on the work of Kenyan conservationist Paula Kahumbu. We also share some extraordinary moments in Benin from Hannah Rayner and Dave Waddell's recent trip to West Africa.

Explore more below and do get in touch if you have any questions or just simply for a chat. I'd love to hear from you.

Yours,

Will Jones
Chief Exploration Officer

Adventures in Zakouma

‘One of the greatest success stories of our time, Zakouma National Park in Chad is a rare gem in a warm country, both in terms of people and climate. We recently spent a week here with a special group of guests enjoying the magic that this destination provides; patterns, colours and scenes unlike any in the rest of Africa. Thank you to African Parks for making this possible, without their dedicated work, tourism in Zakouma would be wishful thinking.'
